Authority Read is a studio operated by Eric Moore. What follows describes what this site actually does with your information, service by service, rather than the categories a template would give you.

What we collect, and when

Nothing on this site asks you to create an account, and we do not sell or rent information to anyone.

• When you request a Read. The form collects your name, email, website, a line about your business, and anything you write in the message field. It is delivered to us by Web3Forms and arrives as an email.
• When you talk to the Read Desk. The panel tells you before you start that you are talking to an AI and that the conversation is transcribed. The voice concierge runs on Retell. Your microphone audio is processed by Retell and an AI model so the assistant can answer you, and a transcript of the conversation is produced. If the conversation looks like a genuine enquiry, a summary is emailed to Eric so he can follow up.
• When you leave a message instead. The message box in the Read Desk collects your question and your email address and sends them to us by email through Resend.
• When you book a call. Booking runs on Cal.com, which collects whatever you enter to schedule the call and is governed by its own privacy policy.
• When you open a personalised read page. Pages at authorityread.com/read/ are prepared for one named recipient. We record that the page was opened, and when, so we know a delivery arrived. These pages are not indexed by search engines.

Analytics

Analytics do not run until you accept them. On your first visit a banner asks, and nothing analytics-related loads while that question is open. Declining is one click, the same as accepting, and if you decline, no analytics script is ever loaded on your visit.

If you accept, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people move through the site: which sections get read, where people stop, and whether anything is broken. Clarity records page interactions and can replay them as anonymous sessions, and it stores an identifier in your browser so a returning visit can be recognised. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you.

We do not run advertising pixels, and we do not use this data to build a profile of you across other websites.

Third parties the site loads

Loading a page here also contacts a small number of other services. Each of them receives your IP address as a normal part of serving a request:

• Vercel, which hosts the site.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces.
• Microsoft Clarity, only if you have accepted analytics.
• Retell, only if you start a voice conversation.
• Web3Forms and Resend, only if you submit a form or a message.
• Cal.com, only if you open the booking view.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, to run an engagement you have asked about, and to keep the site working. If you enquire and nothing comes of it, your enquiry sits in an email inbox rather than a marketing system. We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the emails they generate are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record. Analytics data is retained under Microsoft Clarity's own schedule. Voice transcripts are kept only as long as they are useful for following up on the conversation.

Your choices

• Email eric@authorityread.com and ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We will do it.
• Change your analytics choice at any time: Review my cookie choice. This clears what you chose and asks again.
• Browser-level controls, including blocking cookies or sending Do Not Track, apply here as they do anywhere.
• The Read Desk is entirely optional. If you never start a conversation, no audio is ever captured.

Children

This site is aimed at people running businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
